Prerequisites

  1. Install Meltano
  2. Create your Meltano project

Installation and configuration

  1. Add the tap-circle-ci extractor to your project using
    meltano add
    :
  2. meltano add extractor tap-circle-ci --variant meltanolabs
  3. Configure the tap-circle-ci settings using
    meltano config
    :
  4. meltano config tap-circle-ci set --interactive
  5. Test that extractor settings are valid using
    meltano config
    :
  6. meltano config tap-circle-ci test

The API base URL to use for requests. Default, https://circleci.com/api/v2.

Org Slug (org_slug)

  • Environment variable: TAP_CIRCLE_CI_ORG_SLUG

Organization slug in the form vcs-slug/org-name. Example: org-slug=gh/CircleCI-Public


Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config tap-circle-ci set org_slug [value]

Token (token)

  • Environment variable: TAP_CIRCLE_CI_TOKEN

Personal API Token you have generated that can be used to access the CircleCI API


Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config tap-circle-ci set token [value]

User Agent (user_agent)

  • Environment variable: TAP_CIRCLE_CI_USER_AGENT
  • Default Value: tap-circle-ci/0.1.1 Singer tap for the CircleCI API.
